Pastor Mark Mays

Grace Baptist Church

In Isaiah 6:8 we find Isaiah responding to the Lord’s question “who will go for us”. Isaiah responds, “Here am I; send me.” Later we find Samuel responding with the same answer to the Lord’s calling him four different times – “Here am I”. God called unto Moses when he saw him turn aside unto the burning bush and Moses responded, “Here am I”. We find that Jacob answered the Lord with the same – “Here am I”. Those who have served the Lord throughout scripture are known to have a servant’s heart.

In Exodus 35:5 we see the Lord asking from “whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring an offering of the Lord.”

Thomas Simpson has presented himself to the Lord in a similar way, “Here am I Lord, I am willing in my heart to serve you in whatever manner you would choose”.

I have watched Thomas grow up from a young man into a young adult man. He has offered himself to the Lord and has given evidence that he is willing to do what the Lord would ask of him. I encourage you to consider allowing him to serve your ministry in whatever manner you would deem needed.

Dean of Students at Ambassador Baptist College

Thomas Simpson is a young man that has the call of God on his life.  It has been my privilege to see him grow and develop over the last few years during his college and graduate training.  He has a wide range of experience in the ministry.  He will be a blessing from the pulpit and with his music.  The crowning quality is his heart for God.  He cares about people and it will exciting to see how God uses him in the future.

Pastor Ben Farrell

Pastor of Reedy Creek Baptist Church

It was my privilege to get to know Thomas over the course of several months as he served as a pastoral intern at our church here in Lexington, North Carolina.  Our people quickly grew to love him because of his genuine love for them.  He faithfully served in everything from our children’s services, to youth activities, to music ministry, to gospel outreach endeavors.  We are grateful for the Lord’s calling upon his life for evangelism as we are confident he will be a great blessing and encouragement to any ministry that allows him the opportunity to partner with them for the cause of Christ.  Thomas has demonstrated a servant’s heart, a joyful attitude, and a fervent spirit in the Lord’s work here at Reedy Creek, and I am convinced he will do the same at your church, school or camp ministry as well.
